In addition to the main exhibition galleries, of rectangular planform, this building houses a number of rooms for the exhibition of painting and sculpture, lecture halls, an auditorium, cafeteria and restaurant, library, and other secondary facilities. Both the external aspect of the building as the interior are very suitable for its functional aim: they are expressive, sincere and simple. The whole project has been carefully and delicately designed by one of the great masters of contemporary architecture.
