Documents of the European Convention on Metallic Construction

Following the previous policy of «Informes de la Construcción», we are pleased to publish in this issue three important documents approved by the last General Assemby of the European Convention on Metalic Construction. This organisation carries out in the field of metalic structures a function which is similar to that fulfilled by the CEB in relation to concrete structures. The publication is expressly approved by the Metal Syndicate, which is the Spanish body at the Convention. The translation has been done by Dr. civil engineer Juan Batanero, who is representative on the I, VIII and XII Working Committees of the Convention.
