Youth’s House in Stuttgart-Germany

The project consists of three buildings, joined together. The main building houses woodwork and metalwork shops, photographic laboratories, ceramic workshop and various secondary installations, in the basement. The ground floor has a number of games' rooms a room for the youth leader, and the manager's flat. The top floor is occupied by the library, a hall for craftwork and services. A second building has a large assembly hall, a cafeteria bar, dining room, and drawing room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a general hall, for showing films, lectures, and similar, with a capacity for 180 seated people. The third building includes the table tennis hall and a bicycle storage. Construction is diaphanous, simple, and of high class workmanship, in up to date styles and using modem materials.
