"New Students Union" building at Keele University

This building has three storeys. The bottom one has an ample vestibule which occupies the main part of the central space, and a group of offices for the manager, and the secretary, board room, information office, post office, telephone booths, dressing rooms, hairdressers, self-service shop, bar, workshop and ancillaries. The first floor has a dancing hall, two meeting rooms, bar, snack bar and kitchens. The second floor is partly taken up with the higher part of the dancing hall. In addition there are games rooms, including billiards and table tennis, reading music and TV rooms, a small apartment for the night watchman, and two rooms for various uses, which can be joined up with the table tennis room by opening folding partitions.
