Chapel of Saint John the Baptist

The building consists essentially of three parts: an entry processional gallery and the baptistery, to the left; to the ;right of the main entrance, the great nave; whilst between these there are two small cloisters. This chapel does not pretend to be an original design, or even a especially original structure. It must be interpreted rather as a shape that follows logically from the attempt to serve a spiritual need of man in a popular language. In this case, the architecture has been understood as something alive and changing, under the effects of light and shade. The plastic quality of this church induces an emotional uplift to those who look at it from the neighboring fields.
