Industrialization in Building. Program of Research in Building

This article gives information about the program of research developed by the Working Group of the United Nations Economic Committee for Europe (Housing Committee for Building and Planning). It includes a summary of the documents collected by the Secretariat of the above Committee. The matters that are discussed can be included under the above headings: comparison of buildings costs; effects of repetition of operations at the working site; economy and technology of building upkeep; statistics of building mechanization, and modular standardization of building units.
