Abstract

The efficiency of preventive overhaul of machinery depends on the its systematic continuity. If these periodic overhauls are not repeated within regular intervals their usefulness is severely affected. Hence, it is necessary that at all periods, when the equipment is being used, regular observations and controls should be undertaken, depending on the type of machinery and the work that is being done. In this article details are given on the overhaul and upkeep of tractors and graders. Various operations are described which should be effected before, during and after a working period of this type of machinery.
