The most important feature of this factory is the main workshop and the offices and laboratory building. The workshop nave can be easily adapted to a variety of manufacturing uses, in keeping with possible future changes in the production program. It is basically a big box, into which a large range of different production lines can be fitted. The office building is planned as a rectangular cellular unit, which provides a very simple distribution pattern. The director's office is emphasized by covering the outside walls with special local stone slabs. The water and the cooling towers take the form of pure geometric shapes. The north face of the factory, which has no windows, together with the outline of these towers, which are of bare concrete, provide a view of great plastic power.
