This block is on the outskirts of the town, and provides an accommodation that is intermediate between a conventional apartment and an individual house. The dynamic layout of its plan distribution and its orientation insures maximum sunlight and greatly enhances both its external and internal perspectives. The large balcony becomes, during the summer, an additional living space of great usefulness. To provide adequate privacy and protect them from being overlooked from other apartments, these have been fitted with a system of vertical «alumen» strips, 1.5 mm thick, supported in aluminium frames. Due to their positioning, they cut off lateral vision, enabling a clear view to be enjoyed of the landscape, but make it impossible to overlook one apartment from the others. The aesthetic effect of the various aluminium elements is one of lightness and distinction. The gentle contrasts of shade and light contribute a sense of plasticity which goes well with the general architectural conception of the building, whose originality stands out.
