Este espectacular edificio ofrece una particularidad interesante dentro de las construcciones deportivas: a través del gigantesco prisma envolvente, se transparenta el «cuenco» del terreno de juego y los graderíos, a la vez que desde las gradas más altas, y gracias al anillo ondulante de remate del mismo, puede verse el luminoso panorama circundante.
