El Ayuntamiento de Londres (Inglaterra) ha puesto en servicio una segunda calzada sobre la ya existente en una zona amplia donde el tráfico creaba frecuentes congestiones. Esta segunda calzada se apoya en soportes que parten de la ya existente. La estructura fue estudiada y proyectada por el gabinete técnico G. Maunsell and Partners, quien mantuvo un contacto constante con los Servicios municipales de pavimentaciones.
