El lago Lünersee, situado en la zona de Vorarlberg (Austria), ha sido objeto de un aprovechamiento hidroeléctrico destinado, por sus condiciones particulares, a desempeñar una importante función en la distribución de energía durante el período de "puntas". Empezados los trabajos en el año 1954, la explotación ha entrado en servicio en 1958.
