Iglesia parroquial de Moriondo

La población actual de Moriondo de Moncalieri consta de unas 900 almas, y desde el punto de vista urbanístico es lógico considerar que dicha unidad sea doblada en los próximos cincuenta años. Esta previsión queda perfectamente justificada si se tiene presente que el antiguo poblado —eminentemente rural y situado en el límite oriental del complejo comunal— tiende a extenderse hacia poniente con núcleos constructivos de carácter residencial.
