La casa está dedicada a Anala y Armando Planchart y se ha construido en la cima de un cerro, desde el cual se divisa el magnífico panorama de la ciudad, suave y graciosa, contrastando con el fondo bravío de la cadena montañosa de Ávila. El edificio se ha realizado con un concepto fundamental, especial y autoiluminado, es un juego de espacios, superficies y volúmenes, que se ofrecen, con aspectos diversos, ante aquel que penetra en e l la; es como una gigantesca escultura, no precisamente para ser vista desde fuera, sino para ser observada y admirada desde dentro, recorriéndolo detenidamente; está proyectada y realizada para ser observada girando continuamente los ojos.
