La presa adosada al dique, llamada de Serre de Monge, donde se ha instalado la Central subterránea, tiene 600 m de longitud en coronación, embalsa 1.200 millones de metros cúbicos. La Central dispone de cuatro grupos Francis, de 90.000 KVA de potencia, que utilizará un caudal de 300 m/s con un salto hidrostático de 107 metros.
