En la morfología de los puentes, el viaducto urbano es el último tipo que se ha actualizado para aliviar la congestión del tráfico en el recinto limitado de la ciudad o de sus suburbios y resuelto adecuadamente gracias a las posibilidades del hormigón pretensado.
