Plan de carreteras para el noroeste del Canadá

Con objeto de facilitar el desarrollo y gran expansión agrícola, industrial y turística que viene acentuando el Canadá, y dada la gran extensión del país, el Gobierno federal ha encargado al Ministerio de Obras Públicas la coordinación de un vasto plan para la construcción de carreteras y las obras de fábrica que sean necesarias. De este plan general presenta un interés particular —del que en este trabajo nos vamos a ocupar— el grupo de caminos actualmente en construcción, otros en proyecto, los ya construidos y, finalmente, los métodos constructivos empleados en su ejecución en la zona más importante de este plan, es decir, en los llamados territorios del noroeste.
