Esta escuela se encuentra emplazada en la populosa e industrial ciudad de Birmingham. Aunque fue construida de acuerdo con las nuevas normas de arquitectura docente, con muchos puntos de similitud con otras semejantes, presenta un carácter original y una organización netamente abierta hacia el exterior, alegre, despejada y con amplio patio central, en el que campea el ornato incomparable de una vegetación cuidada.
