El programa de esta vivienda ha sido fijado por sus propietarios, de acuerdo con sus normas de vida y tendiendo a un claro deseo de facilitarlas y mejorarlas. Estas necesidades básicas están expresadas en dos funciones simultáneas: grandes espacios abiertos de expansión y zonas privadas de recreo y solar. Los propietarios necesitaban también, para sus aficiones jardineras, espacios interiores y exteriores dedicados a plantas y flores. Aparte de esto, era necesario prever locales espaciosos y bien iluminados para exponer todas las obras de arte que los propietarios han ido acumulando en el transcurso de su vida.
