La biblioteca Hansa forma parte de las instalaciones culturales del nuevo barrio berlinés que, aun siendo una construcción de reducidas proporciones, ha extendido su importancia más allá de los límites de este nuevo sector urbano, viéndose concurrido por gentes de todas las zonas de Berlín, debido al gran sentido funcionalista y estético con que está concebida.
