La nueva factoría de productos químicos de la Scottish Agricultural Industries, situada en Escocia, en la localidad de Leith (Inglaterra), y en la zona de las instalaciones portuarias, ya que la mayor parte de las materias primas que se emplean en las distintas transformaciones y procesos químicos se reciben por mar, fue proyectada por el arquitecto Basil Spence en colaboración con los ingenieros Kinnear y Gordon.
