This proyect was the result of a compefition in the city of Oviedo and is a complex of seven fowers on the soufh side and four more towers on the north side of a great plal/orm covering the rail tracks in the city centre. What is most characteristic about this proyect might seem to be its chromatic evolution from the range of reds fo blues, which meant somefhing new in this city, less usedperhaps than others to intense colours; but there are other characteristics which we were concerned with in itsproyection and construction. The colouring of the facades is obtained by the use of resin panels which have the colour included in their ingredients, and which hang at some distance from the interior brick walls, creating a ventilated chamber for the service installafions. In this way the exterior skin of the building is taut and limpid, avoiding the usual presence of tubes and apparatus which the extremepoverty of our building sysfems is normally incapable of concealing.
