Lámina plegada. Universidad Laboral de Tarragona

Entre las aplicaciones del hormigón pretensado en el campo de la edificación, merece especial mención la cubierta laminar construida para una de las naves de la Universidad Laboral de Tarragona. La nave es de forma rectangular, con 57,60 X 20 m de luz libre. La cubierta fue concebida por el arquitecto señor de la Vega y proyectada por el profesor Torroja, con la colaboración de los ingenieros Sres. del Pozo y Páez como especialistas en el cálculo de láminas.
