Osuna (Seville, Spain) has an extensive net work of livestock tracks which are lost or taken over by adjoining agricultural smallholdings. In addition, the f act that the main environmentally-valued leisure areas were situated on the livestock tracks added to their progressive destruction. Also, the lack of paperwork regarding the livestock tracks led to conflict between smallholders and farmers because of the use and the boundaries of livestock tracks which are public right s of way and which, with an area of1.71 7 hectares, constitute 3% of the township.
With the recovery and signaling of the livestock tracks of Osuna is intended the ranking and protection of this net focusing it towards rural tourism activities and linking it to the Net of Protected Natural Spaces of Andalusia , since will act as ecological corridors that favor the displacement of the wild kinds, increasingiy isolated.
