Magníficamente emplazada, junto al río y en la cúspide de una pequeña colina, se levanta esta capilla como representación viva y patente del ideal religioso y nexo de unión en el desarrollo de una comunidad naciente. Desde lo alto se divisa un panorama espléndido, con el agua a sus pies y la extensión verde y sedante de las colinas y prados téjanos.
