Iglesia, en Coventry

La iglesia de San Nicolás, en Coventry, como otras edificadas en naciones afectadas por la última conflagración mundial, se ha levantado en el solar que ocupaba una del siglo pasado, destruida por los bombardeos. El terreno es arcilloso y presenta un ligero declive hacia la carretera, lo que proporciona un desnivel favorablemente ventajoso para destacar un edificio como éste, de tipo representativo, aparte —naturalmente— de la verticalidad acusada de la torre.
