The whole of the Arts Palace and the attached spaces, are located in the south-west of Valencia town, in a place limited by the old bed of Turia river, between the "Paseo de las Moreras " -that leads to "Nazaret "-and the "Saler " highway, as well as in the extensions of the streets "Tomás Montañana" and "Hermanos Maristas ", in the east side of "Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias ", The Arts Palace main building was conceived with a double purpose: lo construct a multiple auditorium and to be implanted in Valencia 's urban area, not only like a dynamic element, but also like a landscape symbol, with monumental character.
