Focus and Scope

Informes de la Construcción was founded in 1948 by the Instituto Técnico de la Construcción y del Cemento, currently called Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo Torroja. It is a scientific journal, published electronically and quarterly, for the promotion and dissemination of original works on architecture, engineering, public works, environment, installations, rehabilitation, construction systems, testing techniques, results of research on building components and systems, or similar subjects related to construction sciences.

The journal Informes de Construcción is historically focused on both a scientific audience and a professional audience including architects, engineers, construction companies and other professionals in the sector interested in: innovation, with the aim of showing the latest advances in construction and their direct application to building and civil works; as well as research into traditional techniques, with the aim of making a contribution to scientific knowledge in this field.
