In this article a personal is offered of the designer of the TVE tower in Madrid, reviewing all the aspects which have influenced the final aesthetic result, and the role of the architect within the team of tecnicians of different specialities, which in the words of the writer is like the point of an iceberg of great dimensions, but it is not for this that his invention is less important, since the design is in this case a determined problem, by the conditioning of the outline and above all technological, it is necessary to surmount this barrier so that the elements making up the complex, shaft, platform, decks arid mast form a satisfactory plastic unit.
