The well- known Market of the Arenal is a complex built in 1947 that occupies a whole square in the Center of the city of Seville. The building includes not only the Market, but also an underground level used as garage, two level of municipal dependencies and four floors for particular living flats. An important part of the municipal dependencies were abandoned and partially vandalized causing gradual spoiling of the neighborhood. The aim of the project is to recover these spaces as municipal offices which leads to the use of part of the abandoned building and the revitalization of the neighborhood. This paper focus on the structural intervention that have been necessary in order to verify minimum requirements in the new spaces, also the rest of the constructive aspects of the whole building.
