Abstract

In 2007 the number of T.A. (DIT, DIT plus, etc.), issued by the IETcc has increased significantly maintaining the positive evolution of the last four years. The fact that this increase is running together with enlarge of activities for European Technical Approval in the field of EOTA must be remarked. Actually 2007 has been the year record for the numbers of documents issued both DIT and ETAs. During the first semester 2007 the Spanish economy has had a positive evolution but some slowdown during the second semester seems to concern all the agents for the near future. The acceptance of the DIT and DIT plus by the Quality Control Organisations representing the Insurance Companies, under the provisions of the Spanish Building Law and the National Building Technical Code (CTE) seems to be for the future the main basis for supporting manufacturer and technician’s interest. All the certificates issued by IETcc (DIT and DIT plus) included those based on Confirmation Procedure of UEAtc must contain the necessary information to justify the fulfilment of the CTE. This justification must be managed considering each basic (essential) requirement. The number of applications for DIT plus (application document) is growing year by year. The number of certificates DIT plus issued in 2007 (24) as well as the number of applications underway (30) confirms the interest and confidence of the Spanish manufacturers on this procedure.
