Abstract


The following paper pretends to analyze the different cellular fillers, that are mainly used in building construction as lightweighters, in order to establish the most suitable ones for the manufacture of plasterboard. A model of compound of gypsum+filler is proposed here which would greatly reduce the weight of the plasterboard panels to improve the construction efficiency on the building site and to reduce the fracture risks in the transportation to the building site.
